Assessment & Placement          Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) Test Information (for Health Science Applicants Only)

1	Students applying to one of the six Health Sciences programs at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring campus for the Spring 2009 semester and on may need to take the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) as a part of the application process.  Please attend an information session and verify with faculty from your area of study that you will need to take this test before registering.
2	The cost of the test is $25 (non-refundable) and will need to be paid at any Campus Cashier prior to registering for the test. To register for the test, please contact the Germantown, Rockville or Takoma Park/Silver Spring Assessment Centers in person or by phone. Please call the Center you wish to use for more information. Test is by appointment only. See testing calendar for November and December dates at Rockville.
3	On your test date, arrive 15 minutes prior to your test time. Be prepared to show your: a) valid photo ID b) receipt and purple sheet from the cashier c) ATI printout showing your account number (this is for Rockville only) Students without proper identification and verification of payment will not be admitted and may be required to re-register and pay for another test.  Students may only take the test twice during a twelve month period.
