Solving Problems Using Mathematics and the Computer

This is a natural pairing of two courses for students of business, economics, finance, general education, and mathematics.

Special features:

Provides an appreciation of mathematics and how this mostly abstract creation dominates our lives
Covers the most widely used software packages while providing students hands-on experience with current computer applications
Shows the connection between technology and mathematics
Introduces computer concepts and techniques applicable to business as well as personal finance situations
