Their goal is to provide visitors relevant news and information produced by original writers and the Black Press; to create a marketplace for consumers to buy merchandise; and for businesses to sell their merchandise. Visitors to the site can participate in lively discussions about issues that affect everyday life.

A grassroots site dedicated to providing a vehicle for Blacks of the Diaspora to get the word out to the community globally. Dogon Village is dedicated to bridging the digital and educational divides in the minority communities. From providing free web site development and hosting, to technology consulting and training, they have worked to keep the community up to date with ways to utilize new technology to communicate with the masses. Additionally, they serve as point of contact for a number of organizations, disseminating information to members via e-mail and fax.

A private, nonprofit, nonpartisan, organization established to reduce poverty and discrimination, and improve life opportunities for Hispanic Americans.
