Academic Advising
The academic advisor can play a key role in a student's college career.
Advisors work with students to select appropriate classes and choose a transfer
university. They can provide students with a sense of what to expect in
their intended career area, and may also help them find internships.
For these reasons, students should consult an advisor as soon as they think they're interested in a particular major. Once they've selected a major, students should visit their advisor at least once a year, if not every semester.
The academic advisor for both international studies and political science students is Professor Johnny Holloway. His office location, telephone number, and current office hours are listed on his faculty page. You may also send him an email at johnny.holloway@montgomerycollege.edu.
