Description:
The Culinary Arts and Technology program offers opportunities for students to pursue interests and abilities related to careers in the food industry. Nutrition, food safety, and sanitation are emphasized as students practice all aspects of meal planning and preparation. Students participate in laboratory experiences to investigate the interrelationship between food, science, and nutrition. An integral part of this program is the use of computer programs for the exploration of emerging technologies as they relate to specific dietary and consumer needs.
