Audits
The office provides College management with audit assistance in providing analyses, appraisals, recommendations and pertinent commentary concerning the activities reviewed to insure management of operations are progressing as planned or opportunities are identified for improvement. Generally this identification will be stated in terms of legal and organization mandates, internal accounting control processes, management data, resource utilization and fulfillment of assigned responsibilities. The auditing services of the office are available to administrators on all operational matters and include the coordination of external audit activities between the College and external auditors. The goals of the audit coverage are for improved accountability, reduced costs, and more effective operations.
