All of the following biology classes require both a lab and a lecture. Please note in the Schedule of Classes that all of the courses in this table except BI101 have specific labs linked to specific lectures. These linked sections cannot be unlinked!

BI 104 Understanding Viruses is a non-lab science course. | |
BI 105 Environmental Biology can be taken as lecture only (BI105A) or a lecture/lab combination (BI105A + BI105B). | |

BI 106 Marine Environmental Science is a non-lab science course but one or two short field trips may be required. | |
BI 109 Natural Science of the Chesapeake Bay is a non-lab science course but one or two short field trips may be required. | |
BI 208 Field Ecology is a lab science course that combines on-campus instruction with a 5-6 day field trip to Florida during spring break and one or two local day trips.. | |
BI 213 Nutrition is a lecture only course. |
Only courses with a lab fulfill the General Education Natural Science Distribution (NSLD) lab science requirement. Check college catalog for more detail.
