All of the following biology classes require both a lab and a lecture. Please note in the Schedule of Classes that all of the courses in this table except BI101 have specific labs linked to specific lectures. These linked sections cannot be unlinked!

| BI 105 Environmental Biology can be taken as lecture only (BI105A) or a lecture/lab combination (BI105A + BI105B). |

BI 106 Marine Environmental Science is a non-lab science course but one or two short field trips may be required. |
| BI 109 Natural Science of the Chesapeake Bay is a non-lab science course but one or two short field trips may be required. |
| BI 208 Field Ecology is a lab science course that combines on-campus instruction with a 5-6 day field trip to Florida during spring break and one or two local day trips.. |
| BI 213 Nutrition is a lecture only course. |
Only courses with a lab fulfill the General Education Natural Science Distribution (NSLD) lab science requirement. Check college catalog for more detail.
