Career Opportunities
The Metropolitan DC area is a major center for publishing, advertising, marketing, design, and graphics in the print and broadcast media. Montgomery College graduates are working in these areas as designers, art directors, illustrators, photographers, production managers, sales and marketing representatives, and company executives. Many companies contact the department for interns or entry level positions.
Appropriate courses may be used toward development of marketable skills, for vocational interests or for possible transfer. A student interested in any of the A.A.S. or certificate options should consult an academic adviser in the Communications Arts Technologies Department.
