  1. "KEEP UP" with our ever changing technical society (Karen Parks, Broadcasting major).
  2. LEARN TO COMMUNICATE your thoughts and ideas to ensure that your point gets across and is understood.
  3. THINK ON YOUR FEET because you're not always going to have a script to read from (John Daley, Radio Broadcasting major).
  4. VISUALIZE WANTED RESULTS (Bonnie Berger, Building Trades Major).
  5. BE DISCIPLINED about time management. It is required in any workplace, to be an effective worker.
  6. BE DEDICATED and persistent to maintain success in any given situation.
  7. THINK of new creative ideas.  You can be on top one day, and be gone the next.
  8. MAINTAIN A POSITIVE ATTITUDE in the workplace. It allows you to keep everything in perspective.
  9. BE AMBITIOUS. IT allows you to take advantage of professional  opportunities.
  10. TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR WORK. Strive to do the job right (Bonnie Berger).
