Elluminate is being used by some distance learning faculty to conduct live, remotely delivered class sessions, hold office hours, review sessions, and more. Find out if your online course is using Elluminate this semester. Go to the credit schedule and read the notes for your class.
Instructors using Elluminate may require you to purchase headsets. Inexpensive headsets are available at the Rockville Campus Bookstore.
If you are accessing an Elluminate chat session from your course in WebCT, you don't need to log in or set up anything on your browser. Just access the chatroom by clicking on the link provided to you by your professor in the discussion board.
