The Department of the American English Language Program, English, World Languages and Reading is located on the second floor of the Pavilion Three (P3).  The Department provides Developmental and credit courses year round.  Developmental courses are offered to students who need to strengthen their academic foundations in English and reading in order to be successful in college-level courses.  Students may be required to enroll in a number of developmental courses depending on their records, the results of assessment testing, and individual needs.  Visit the link above on Placement Testing to learn more about what assessment entails. Students may enroll in department courses on either a part- or full-time basis.
