PE 174 Dance Aerobics

Includes bench step, slide, and hand weights to improve cardiovascular and strength fitness. Fitness and nutrition basics are taught. 1 credit

PE 178 Weight Training for Women

Challenge myths, set personal goals, learn program design principles and sound training techniques. Choose between machines or free weight equipment training. 1 credit

PE 183 Personal Fitness I

Improve cardiovascular endurance, strength, and flexibility with a total fitness program. Learn proper techniques and fundamentals of program design. Each student will design an individualized exercise program. After the initial instructional orientation of 6 weeks, students may attend any PE183 class to fulfill the course requirements. 1credit

PE 184 Personal Fitness II

Continue with your fitness program and learn new techniques for variation and program design. After the initial instructional orientation of 6 weeks, students may attend any PE183 class to fulfill the course requirements. 1 credit

PE 186 Strength Training and Conditioning I

Learn safe and effective free weight training techniques; learn program design variables and strategies to effectively change programs for continuous gains.
1 credit

PE 187 Strength Training and Conditioning II

Explore advanced techniques and methods to insure continued progress. Learn periodization training programs and how to develop goal specific programs.

PE 188 Circuit Weight Training

A pre-designed combination cardiovascular and strength training program for increased total fitness. The structured format provides a fast-paced, highly motivational workout. 1 credit
