DMS Information Sessions
*All
prospective students are strongly encouraged to attend one of the DMS
Information Sessions.
Throughout the Spring and Fall semesters, DMS information sessions
are held to provide information for those who wish to learn
more about the DMS program. These information sessions provide
prospective students with an opportunity to discuss with DMS faculty
about academic qualifications for admission,
prerequisites
for the program, application deadline dates, the DMS curriculum,
clinical rotations, details on financial aid, professional careers
and more. During these Information Sessions DMS faculty and MC
counselors will be present to offer academic advice. If you
would like to speak to a counselor for academic advising please
contact the
Counseling Department at 240-567-1480, Student Services Building.
NEW Live Chat DMS Information Sessions are held online and
you are welcome to log on and participate from the comfort of you
home. In order to make sure your computer is setup to allow
you to participate please follow the two easy steps for setting up
your computer and complete a 5 minute tutorial at the
Distance Learning website in order to participate in the Online DMS
Information Session Live Chat. If you miss this session you can go
back and listen to the recorded session, just follow the link
associated with the Live Chat.

If this is the
first time you will be using Elluminate, you may be prompted to
download some software which may take anywhere from 2 to 20
minutes depending upon your Internet connection speed. You can
pre-configure your system with the required software by going to
the
MC Support Page.
Please make sure your computer has a microphone and speakers to
be able to talk and hear while you are in the Elluminate
meeting. If you do not have a microphone you can ask questions
by typing them into the live chat.
On Campus DMS Information Sessions are held in the Health Science Center
located at 7977 Georgia Avenue, Room 426/429. (Directions

Information Sessions are held as Live Chat Sessions, see dates and
