Admission to Montgomery College is open to all. Students who are interested in applying for consideration of acceptance into the Radiologic Technology program must satisfy the following minimum prerequisites:

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING
Effective Spring 2007, the prerequisite for BI-204 and BI-205 has been changed from BI-101 or BI-107, to BI-107 only. However, until Spring 2009, students with BI-101 will be "grandfathered" if BI 101 has been taken prior to Fall 2008.
Beginning with the Fall 2008 class, health science admissions for the fall will be based on courses completed and grades earned through
the prior fall semester only.

PRIORITY CONSIDERATION FOR PLACEMENT INTO THE PROGRAM WILL BE GIVEN TO STUDENTS WHO HAVE COMPLETED THE FOLLOWING CLASSES:
BIOLOGY 204 BIOLOGY 205 HI 125 EN 101
THOSE APPLICANTS WHO HAVE COMPLETED ANY OR ALL OF THE ABOVE CLASSES WILL BE RANKED BY GPA AND WILL BE GIVEN PRIORITY OVER THOSE STUDENTS WHO HAVE ONLY COMPLETED THE PREREQUISITES AND GENERAL EDUCATION CLASSES THAT ARE NOT PART OF THE RT PROGRAM.
There is no priority consideration to county residents.

TRANSFERRING CREDITS FROM ANOTHER COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY WITHIN THE UNITED STATES Students transferring credits from another institution within the United States should attach an OFFICIAL transcript to the Health Science Application. Please DO NOT break the seal on this transcript when applying to the program
TRANSFERRING CREDITS FROM ANOTHER COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES Those students who attending a university outside of the United States will need to have their college transcript evaluated by an outside institution. Please contact the counseling department for further information.
