Extra credit project. Buzz Lightyear sends a message - "to infinity...and beyond."

This extra credit project is worth 10 points. It calls upon you to synthesize some of the material you have learned about linguistics and to break "out of the box" so to speak. Thus you are to attempt to establish contact with any aliens who may be present in the universe and susceptible to written communication from Planet Earth. Send these aliens a written message which they will understand. Tell them where the message came from and the most important thing the receivers should know about the sender. Do not assume that the aliens speak English or your native tongue. Do not assume that they read from bottom-top, etc. in their native language. Do not bother to translate the message for your instructor. He will read the original message only.
