The
Montgomery College Foundation Board of Directors broadly
represents the business, professional and
academic community. It establishes
policies for the Foundation which echoes the vision of the College’s
President and the Board of Trustees.
In accordance to the Chronicle of Higher
Education, Montgomery College
· ranks among the top five community colleges
in the country relative to philanthropic giving
· is listed among the prestigious ranks of
colleges and universities across the country relative to
total endowment size.
State
and County funding help Montgomery College to continue to
provide excellence in educational and training programs—but
private contributions from local businesses, foundations,
community leaders, and alumni have helped to create premier
programs in the arts, humanities, business, and biotech areas
which rival those among the country’s most elite colleges
and universities.
Private
funding generated through the Montgomery College Foundation
is critical in providing the kinds of partnerships and programs
that bring national recognition to Montgomery College’s three
Montgomery County campuses located at Takoma Park/Silver
Spring, Rockville, and Germantown.
