Azar

·        This program provides comprehensive explanations and exercises for grammar. The "secret power" of Azar is the presence of grammar charts, designed by Betty Champfer Azar, that summarize individual points of grammar.

·        For the best benefit from this program, you will need to slow down and study these charts.

·        The program also features narrated explanations. Just click on the Play sign, and you will hear the explanatory text read aloud.

·        It is also possible to open the charts from the separate menu choice:

 UUEG Charts

and print them.

·        Azar does not provide scores, but you can estimate the % correct and write down your score on your score sheet.

When you’re done for the day, bring the score sheet by one of the staff tutors and we’ll initial it for you. This gives us the chance to offer to help if you had any difficulty, and confirms to your teacher that you were in the room.

While this program seems to have a lot of explanation available, if you get less than 80%,  Talk to a human!
