·        This program provides comprehensive instruction on American English pronunciation.

·        It has some elements that reflect Canadian usage rather than United States.

To Use:

 

·        Go to the Welcome screen:

·        Click on:

·        The primary division within the program is between lessons and exercises.


·        Within either division, you can navigate to any desired sound by clicking the choice button Choice arrow beside the sound designator.

Sound choice

·    Within the Exercises, you can choose between five types by clicking the choice button Choice arrow beside the exercise designator.


·    Within the Lessons, you can choose between two types of instruction by clicking the choice button Choice arrow beside the lesson designator.


Lesson types

·        The program has the capacity to record and play back your voice.

·    Click on the record button to start the process.

 

 

 

·    The  first time you start a recording, you will get a MS Windows screen

 

·    Just press <ENTER>, or click OK.

·   Click on the record button Record  a second time to start the recording. It will change to End record. ·   Click on the record button End record  a third time to stop the recording.
·   Click on the play button Play  to review your recording
