Q1. Can I participate in the College Institute if I am not a Wootton, Gaithersburg,
John F Kennedy, or Seneca Valley High School student?
Answer - Currently The College Institute program is
limited to students at Wootton, Gaithersburg, John F Kennedy, and Seneca Valley High Schools.
However, Montgomery College offers the
Early Placement Program
which allows selected high school seniors from any high school to enhance their class schedule with college-level credit course work and experience the independence of college-level study. These students would enroll in a Montgomery College class on the Germantown, Rockville, or Takoma Park campuses.
Montgomery College
and Montgomery County Public Schools plan to expand the College Institute to
other parts of the County in the future.
