Admission to the Renaissance Scholarship Honors Program is selective.  To be considered for admissions, students must have a minimum of 3.2 GPA and must demonstrate writing proficiency with an A or B in EN101, EN101A, or EN102, or eligibility for EN102 as determined by SAT or Accuplacer tests. 

Renaissance scholars receive scholarships for the courses specified in the program.  In addition, many other types of scholarships are available at Montgomery College. Honors faculty and counselors assist students in identifying and applying for appropriate scholarships and other financial assistance.

Renaissance Scholars is a selective honors program offered in the evenings and on the weekends
at the Germantown campus and at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring campus.
