Integrating Archaeology into K-12 Education

Welcome to the Integrating Archaeology into K-12 Education website!

This website is designed to provide educators with information on how to engage students in archaeology. Archaeology may be used to teach a variety of topics within many different subjects such as: art, health, language arts, math, reading, science, and social studies. This website has information on the 2005 Teacher Seminar, which included excavations at the Dowden's Ordinary Site, as well as information on future seminars, archaeology lesson plans and modules, and hands-on childrens programs. All lesson plans associated with this site are linked to the county and state curriculum standards.
