Archaeology Programs for Children


Many new childrens programs are being offered in the area that engage children in the anthropology and archaeology disciplines

The Exploring Archaeology Childrens Camp, Montgomery College in Rockville engages school age children in week long archaeology camps. Children participate in learning arcaheology and presevation.

All student programs fit within the Maryland State Department of Education Standards (MSDE), as well as County Standards and Indicators

The Center for Archaeology & Heritage Education provides classroom and enrichment programs in your schools or at local parks and heritage sites.

A Girl Scout Archaeology Patch Program is available
