The student will also be able to:
understand the rationale behind Mendel's experiments and why he chose the garden pea for his experiments, understand Mendel's laws and be able to apply them to monohybrid and dihybrid crosses, use Punnett Square and probability crosses to solve simple genetic problems and understand when Mendel's laws fail to apply.
