Course Description: Provides the graduating nurse the opportunity to implement care in acute and community settings and refine clinical skills. The focus of care is the family during the childbearing cycle, the newborn, and the health needs of women throughout the life cycle. (T only) PRERQUISITES: Admission into the nursing program or permission of the department, a grade of C or better in NU 230. PRE- or COREQUISITES: NU 205, NU 233, and SO 101. Four hours lecture/discussion, 12 hours laboratory each week for seven weeks. |
