"MC Engineering Research and Internship Opportunities"

Speech Lab
Gain preliminary hands-on research experience in speech processing, and learn to communicate scientific findings. Topics include speech segmentation, speaker recognition and speech enhancement.
When: Every Tuesday, 1-2pm (starting October 18)

Nanotechnology
Learn about nanotechnology and perform introductory research in a state-of-the-art facility at Howard University
When: Every Saturday, 1-2pm (starting October 22)
Where: Howard University CREST Nanoscale Analytical Sciences Research and Education Center

Internships

"Air Force ROTC Financial Support "

Montgomery College is now associated with the Air Force ROTC program at the University of Maryland, College Park. Students enrolled full-time in the engineering program at MC may apply to participate in the AFROTC program. Participation in the program will allow students to receive a financial scholarship for tuition and will require enrollment in ROTC courses and activities at UMD. After completing your four year degree and training, you will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force. Career opportunities in the Air Force can include positions in the medical or law areas, science and engineering, flight operations and flight crews. Students are allowed to enroll in the program during the first or second year at Montgomery College.
