this galaxy left it 10 billion years ago. So by the way the universe must be at least 10 billion year old to see something this far away. If the universe is currently 16 billion years old then we can only see 16 billion light years away currently. When the universe is 40 billion year old and you and I are all dust then creatures then will be able to look back at object 40 billion light years away. What does this mean to you?
