that on Friday, October 1 we would explore Hurricane and Typhoon
formation
<>On Saturday, October 9 we will
meet
at the planetarium and go to Great
Falls Maryland where
we will walk the Billy Goat Trail and see
600 million year of earth history revealed in the river as it
cuts through the rocks.
On Friday, October 22 we will go to Walter Reed Medical Center to visit
the National Museum of Medicine.
On Thursday , November 4th the Science Club will visit the Carniege
Institution in Washington DC to listen to Maria Zuber 's (MIT) talk
on "Climate Change on Mars". This talk will begin at 6.45pm, but if you
want to travel with us meet in the planetarium at 5pm.
