AQUATIC CENTER (x71566)

The Takoma Park/Silver Spring Aquatic Center is located in Falcon Hall. It features a six-lane, twenty-five yard swimming pool. Our goal is to provide a safe and friendly environment for students, faculty, staff, and the community. Please contact us at 240-567-1566.

Our dedicated and experienced pool staff monitors all Aquatic Center activities in accordance with Montgomery County Health Department regulations, including: Providing lifeguards Testing water chemistry Providing first aid Maintaining a clean, hazard-free environment Keeping our safety certifications current

Other staff responsibilities include:

• Assisting faculty and students during physical education aquatic classes
• Setting up and monitoring the Aquatic Center for public and private community users (open swim times, private swim teams, and Montgomery County Public School swim meets)
• Providing general information to the public and taking reservations for the racquetball court

Open swim hours for adult swim:

• Monday through Friday, 6:45am-7:45am
• Monday through Friday, 5:30pm-7:30pm
• Monday through Thursday, 12:00pm-1:00pm
• Saturday, call for current hours (fall and spring semesters only)

All currently registered Montgomery College students need to show their student ID to swim during these times. Adults over eighteen may purchase an adult swim pass from the campus cashier (240-567-1526). The facilities pass fees are as follows:

• Annual Swim Pass $170
• Individual Semester Swim Pass $85
• Semester Racquetball Pass $50
• Summer Swim Pass $34
• Summer Racquetball Pass $20
• Annual Racquetball Pass $100
