COMMUNICATIONS CENTER (x71300)

The Communications Center is located in Student Services, Room 212, and is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. The following services are provided:

MAILROOM SERVICES

• Process and distribute inter-campus mail, packages, and memos
• Process and distribute U.S. mail
• Process and distribute packages received from express services (UPS, Federal Express, Airborne Express, RPS, DHL)

SWITCHBOARD SERVICES

• Process all incoming calls to the campus switchboard
• Give out general information (phone numbers, directions, bus routes, campus activities)
• Distribute directories for Montgomery County, Prince George's County, Northern Virginia, and the District of Columbia
• Update College directory as needed

TELEPHONE REPAIR SERVICES

If you need to report a phone problem, please call the help desk at 240-567-7222.

• Provide replacement telephones and telephone parts for the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus
