Biography:
Elena Saenz has worked at Montgomery College since 1990. She has served as director of Academic Initiatives since 2001. In this role, Ms. Saenz has administrative oversight for the Montgomery College and Montgomery County Public School Partnerships. Area Description:
The Academic Initiatives area includes MC/MCPS partnership programs such as the College Institute, Gateway to College, Tech Prep Program, Summer Bridge, Discipline Specific Faculty-to-Faculty School-Based Intervention, PSAT to Inform Instruction, Prep Talk, PSAT Parent Information, and High School Academy Development programs. The College and the Public School system have a long-standing partnership that helps meet the educational needs of today's students.
