Biography:
Dr. Rodney W. Redmond, Associate Dean of Humanities, began his career in education over seventeen years ago. He taught sophomore level high school English before transitioning into a career in higher education. Within the higher education arena, he worked as an adjunct professor, teaching English Composition and Developmental English, at the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio, before joining the English faculty at Montgomery College. The Humanities Area at Rockville offers a diverse range of disciplines that develop analytical, reasoning, and writing skills by exploring the human experience – our ideas, values, and traditions.
