Biography:
Ed Roberts joined the Montgomery College faculty in 1992 as an associate
professor and program coordinator for Building Trades Technology, a new program
located in the recently built Gudelsky Institute for Technical Education. In
2000, Mr. Roberts was appointed acting dean of Applied Technologies and the
Gudelsky Institute; shortly thereafter, he was selected as the instructional
dean. With over thirty years of experience in education and technical training,

Area Description:
The Applied Technologies Department offers associate in applied science
degree programs in Architecture, Construction Management, Geography, and
Interior Design. Each program offers a certificate option and letters of
recognition. The programs are comprehensive, focusing on theory and experience
through practical application activities.
