The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) – Bethesda Chapter Scholarship is available through the Montgomery College Foundation Scholarship Application.  Interested students that meet the criteria below should contact Ms. Judi Mitchell at (240) 567-4021 (or judith.mitchell@montgomerycollege.edu) for an application.

Criteria:

• Majoring in engineering or computer science
• Be a full-time student
• U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
• Graduate of a Montgomery County High School
• Have a 2.5 grade point average or higher
• Demonstrate financial need (Have completed a FAFSA form)
• Interested in transferring to a four-year school for engineering or computer science (scholarship recipients will be given priority consideration for an AFCEA, Bethesda Chapter Scholarship at University of Maryland College Park or Universities at Shady Grove)
• Attend an AFCEA-Bethesda Chapter event if selected as a scholarship recipient

 Scholarship amount up to $2,500 per academic year
