| Tony Scafide Tony Scafide has been part of the Montgomery College criminal justice
faculty since January of 2005. Currently he is a full-time student
completing a Ph.D. at the University of Maryland Baltimore County
in Public Policy. Mr. Scafide holds a Masters degree in Criminal
Justice from the University of Baltimore and Bachelors degrees in
History and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland. Mr.
Scafide obtained his first credits towards his bachelors’
degree from Montgomery College, Rockville. Professionally, Mr. Scafide
has worked in the fields of facility and asset protection. This
vocation extends from retail and industrial security to overseas
protective operations for the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of
Diplomatic Security. Mr. Scafide is an active member of the American
Society of Criminology, American Society for Industrial Security,
and the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences.
