Professor Christiana Tah joined the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Criminal Justice as full time faculty in the fall of 2005 after teaching at Montgomery College in an adjunct capacity from 1991 to 2003. She received a BA degree in Sociology from Carson-Newman College, an MA degree in Sociology (with specialization in Corrections) from Kent State University, a JD degree from the University of Liberia and an advanced law degree from Yale Law School. She has taught sociology at the University of Liberia, a course in Comparative Justice Systems in the Department of Public Affairs at the American University and sociology and criminology at Morgan State University. In 2000, Professor Tah received an Outstanding Teacher Award from the University of Maryland. |
