Professor Nathan Starr
Professor of Sociology

Professor Starr earned his B.A. and Master’s Degree in Sociology from Texas Southern University in Houston Texas. He taught at Howard University prior to joining the Montgomery College faculty in 1972. Professor Starr has served on numerous college wide and department committees and is a frequent speaker and sponsor for student programs. He was selected by the college as an outstanding faculty member for his teaching excellence. Professor Starr teaches Introductory Sociology, Marriage and Family, and Race and Ethnic Relations.
