Dr. Patrick Feeney Professor of Sociology Dr. Feeney is a former Montgomery College student who completed his B.A. degree in Sociology from the University of California at Santa Barbara, a M.A. degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, and his Ph.D. from Temple University. Dr. Feeney's teaching style is very student centered with an emphasis in class discussion, critical thinking and an appreciation for the unique contributions of every student. He and his students have frequently presented research projects at professional sociological conferences. Dr. Feeney has taught in a variety of settings including Temple University, Catholic University, Tougaloo College and Mount St. Mary's College. Professor Feeney teaching expertise ranges from Introductory sociology to courses in race and ethnic relations, sociology of sport, social problems, and marriage and the family. Dr Feeney joined the Department in August 2003. |
