What's New
Sociology offers possibilities at both the personal and professional level. The focus of sociology is the analysis of social behavior, culture, society and its institutions in the context of everyday life situations. Sociology also deals with such subjects as aging, crime, race/prejudice, social problems and marriage and family issues. Practical problems in our courses help develop critical thinking skills. Studies in sociology can serve as a springboard to a variety of careers in sociology, advertising, management and human relations.
