Welcome! If you are
interested in working with children and think
you enjoy teaching then a career in education
may be the right choice for you. Not only is
teaching one of the most rewarding careers but
it is also one that is in great demand
throughout the country.
In addition, you can choose
the age group and the content area in which you
are interested in teaching.
There are also many
specializations in education such as ESL
(English as a Second Language) and special
education.
Here at Montgomery College
we offer the Associates of Arts in Teaching (AAT)
where you complete the first two years of a
four-year education program from a Maryland
University. Classes are offered at various times
and days to accommodate students’ needs and
schedules.

floor of Science South at the Takoma Park/Silver
