We will want the LSG for ground fog but also fire extinguishers for the Moon Launch
Downstage Left and Right orchestra traps will be used as entrances/covers will need to be removed.
Eddie’s scene may want smaller foggers
Eddie’s scene will also require a break though wall structure
Moon Launch scene will require the RKO tower structure to fly Upstage Center
Possibly a masking structure to hide the actors as they descend the lift and the RKO tower flies away.
Adjustments to the handrail will need the handrail to end two steps further upstage to help with sightline issues.
Bedroom scenes will be Upstage Left and Right though the steps may interrupt sightlines from opposite sides of the house.
Rolling elements may serve to change the look from the castle toe the lab.
We could use the footlight pieces kept from previous shows to add to the vaudeville flavor.
Video monitors(3) should be on one of the rolling elements. These could be self-contained VHS players that play recordings of old movies.
Rocky’s birthing pod may be a structure with a base from the ‘metal table’ borrowed from Smithsonian as well as road box if needed.
Will try to investigate pictures from Rorschacht Theatre recent production
Must meet again to discuss projections
