We have worked to arrange for an Orientation program which will be an aid to your transition to Montgomery College and to your participation in the Campus community. Each session will include: Academic Information Student life opportunities Photo Identification Cards Explanations of G.P.A. Calculations and Course Information Distribution of Student Handbooks Explanation of Student Handbooks Explanation of Financial Aid Programs and Procedures Explanation of College and Campus services available to all enrolled Students A tour of the Campus Light Refreshments We realize the many demands made on your time at the beginning of a new semester; however, the time you spend at Orientation will significantly improve your understanding of the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus and describe the opportunities available to you as a member of the Campus community. The investment you are making in your future by choosing to pursue your education and by attending Montgomery College-Takoma Park/Silver Spring is obviously a major step. Those of us currently members of the Campus community, share your excitement and hopefulness. We are here to assist you in the pursuit of your individual goals and look forward to beginning our relationship with you in August.
