ARTSYS is a website that can tell you what courses you will need to take if you are planning to transfer to a school in Maryland. You can also check MC course equivalencies and search for majors.

The ARTSYS web page can be accessed from the MC Transfer web page www.montgomerycollege.edu/transfer/ or directly at the link below.

To use this resources go to: http://artweb.usmd.edu/ 

Click on the “Recommended Transfer Program” link. This link will provided you with a list of recommended transfer courses by major to Maryland schools.

• Select Montgomery College from the drop down box as the “Transfer From” institution.
• Select a “Transfer To” institution from the drop down box.
• Click on “Submit” then on the next screen click on “Next” (do not use the key word box).
• The majors for that school will appear on the next screen highlighted in red.
• Click on the major you are considering.

Courses appearing in black print are courses within the major that can be taken at MC. Clicking on the red highlighted course areas will give you a list of MC courses, which fulfill that particular requirement. Important information relevant to that particular program will be noted at the bottom of the page.

To search for majors at Maryland schools

• From the ARTSYS home page click on “Search for Majors” link
• Enter the major
• Select an institution from the drop down box
• Select of the degree level
• Click on “GO”
• A list of schools with matching words in their title will appear. Click on schools highlighted in red to go directly to that schools home page.
