Who is a Transfer Student?  Hood considers students who have earned 12 credits or more to be transfer students.  Students with less than 24 credits will be asked to submit high school transcripts and SAT scores.  Students are advised to earn an AA degree prior to transfer; up to 70 credits will transfer from the community college level.

From the Hood page:  "A transfer counselor is available to meet with you to discuss your transfer! During your appointment she can assist you in developing your personalized transfer plan. Arrange your transfer appointment and campus visit by calling our admissions office 301.696.3400."
