• In general, most four-year institutions want community college students to fulfill general education requirements at the freshman & sophomore level.  Check with the ARTSYS Recommended Transfer Program page for dance courses required at Maryland public & private colleges and universities.  For out-of-state institutions, refer to each school's catalog for information on course selection.  One can logically assume that experience in this field is extremely important; most dance programs at 4-year institutions will require some type of audition for entrance.
