Steps to Transfer

Every step you need to transfer successfully from MC to a four-year institution.

1 Meet with a counselor each semester prior to registering for classes
2 Begin taking General Education courses in your freshman year
3 Explore majors
4 Search for colleges
5 Research admission requirements
6 Narrow down your choices
7 Create a Transfer Plan - choose classes that will transfer smoothly
8 Complete applications, essays and request letters of recommendations and MC transcripts
