Use Service Learning in YOUR class today!
1. Develop assignment/activity that incorporates a community need with the curriculum. 2. Determine a rubric or some standard of evaluation (i.e., reflection paper, group presentation, etc.) for project assessment. 3. Fill in Facutly Profile Form for Service Learning Coordinator. 4. Meet with Service Learning Coordinator. 5. Turn in copy of syllabus to ensure prompt student placement. 6. Set up a date for Service Learning Coordinator to come in and make presentation to students. 7. Sit back and enjoy the benefits of interested and involved students!
