EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Childcare is among the fastest-growing professional careers. In fact, the Maryland Department of Economic and Employment Development reports in jobs: 1992 to 2005 that the need for childcare occupations will increase by nearly 51 percent during this period. Those who participate in The College Tech Program in early childhood education may prepare for elementary and early childhood teaching careers, as special education teachers, daycare directors and administrators. Students will learn to plan lessons and to teach young children. Medical and wellness issues, public law and families, and skill development will be studied. Imagine your future in the rewarding and exciting world of early childhood education careers!
