Paula Matuskey, Instructional Dean

BIOGRAPHY 


Paula D. Matuskey has served as Instructional Dean at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus since August 1991. She presently is Instructional Dean of Arts/Humanities/Social Sciences.  Dean Matuskey is a graduate of the Rockville Campus of Montgomery College.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Maryland, University College, and her master’s degree in government and politics from the University of Maryland College Park.  She also holds a graduate certificate in Biblical Studies from St. Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore, MD.  Prior to serving as dean, Ms. Matuskey worked in the registrar’s office at this campus and also was Director of Marketing for the College.  She is a regular participant in the College’s speakers bureau program, delivering talks throughout the community on the American Presidency, Media and Politics, and How to Write Your Life Story. 

Area Description: 

The focus of Arts/Humanities/Social Sciences at Takoma Park/Silver Spring is the delivery of quality instructional programs and academic support services, while also providing cultural enrichment opportunities to the County and the Washington metropolitan area. (click to read more)
