- Constructing an education resource library at the UM-Shady Grove Center
- Purchasing and sharing electronic resources as a consortium
- Lobbying county, state, and federal officials for capital funds for library construction and operating funds for resources and services
- Address library space limitations and staffing concerns
- Creating an electronic resource center
- Developing a directory of special libraries located in the Upcounty
- Creating a listserv/reflector for use among the Upcounty Libraries Roundtable members
