IOTA IOTA IOTA (TRIOTA)
PI Chapter

Iota Iota Iota, or TRIOTA, is a national academic honor society for the field of women's studies our chapter is the Pi Chapter. The purpose of this organization is to encourage and support scholarship and excellence in women's studies.

Iota Iota Iota is named for the ancient goddesses Inanna, Ishtar, and Isis. If you have a GPA of 3.0 or above in women's studies courses and have taken at least 6 credit hours in women's studies, we invite you to join Triota. If you are interested in membership, please fill out the attached application and return it along with a copy of your transcript, official or unofficial report, to the Montgomery College Women's Studies Department, Triota, 51 Mannakee Street, Rockville, MD 20850.

Iota Iota Iota (a.k.a. Triota) strives to maintain feminist values central to women's studies: egalitarianism, inclusiveness, and celebration of the diversity of women's experiences. Triota is currently functioning as a national coalition of student clubs organized and recognized at the institutional level.

For students active in Women's Studies there are scholarship opportunities, as well as the opportunity to earn a letter of recognition in Women's Studies, eligible students will have a minimum of 9 credits in women's studies and will have taken WS 101.
